  1. investigating Oct 17, 2026, 05:45 PM UTC

We are investigating an issue that may prevent new configuration updates from reaching the dataplane service in the US East and US West DCv2 datacenters. Existing configuration continues to serve, and customer traffic is not impacted. Datacenter: US (Reston) : csc_us-east-1_1_1 US (California) : csc_us-west-1_1_0

  2. identified Oct 17, 2026, 06:34 PM UTC

The issue has been identified and the fix will be rolled out across nodes. During the rollout, active VPN sessions connected to the data center being updated can be briefly disconnected. Users can reconnect, and sessions are expected to re-establish through the paired data center. New VPN connection attempts are not expected to be affected. Remediation efforts are underway. We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide a final update once the issue is fully resolved.

  3. identified Oct 17, 2026, 10:02 PM UTC

Mitigation is ongoing. During this work, firewall connections may briefly disconnect. We are monitoring the impact and will provide updates as we make progress.

  4. identified Oct 17, 2026, 10:27 PM UTC

We are continuing mitigation for the affecting dataplane traffic. As part of this work, we are taking the affected DCv2 US East (csc_us-east-1_1_1) data center out of rotation, and traffic will be redirected to the next nearest data center. Customers may experience temporary service disruption, including brief firewall session disconnections, during this work. We are monitoring the impact and will provide further updates as work progresses.

  5. identified Oct 17, 2026, 11:50 PM UTC

The out-of-rotation (OOR) activity for the DCv2 US East (csc_us-east-1_1_1) data center is complete. Traffic has been redirected to the nearest data center, and we are monitoring the traffic.
