AF App - Philippines users not receiving SMS verification code
Resolved after 29 days 5 hours, affecting AF App (New), on March 23, 2026.
The issue impacting OTP delivery for some Philippine members has been resolved. WhatsApp has been re-enabled as part of the fix. If any members continue to experience issues: -For WhatsApp delivery: Ensure WhatsApp is installed and the number is verified, then request a new OTP in the AF App. -For SMS delivery: Install WhatsApp, delete the WhatsApp account linked to the number, then request a new OTP in the AF App. If you continue to experience any lingering issues, please reach out through our standard support channels

We are currently investigating issues with Philippines users not receiving the SMS verification code to log in to the AF App.

A fix has been implemented by our Engineering team. Based on preliminary monitoring, it appears that OTPs are now being delivered successfully to Philippines users.

We are still seeing a higher than usual volume of issues with Philippines users not receiving their OTP via SMS. We are currently working with our OTP service provider Twilio to investigate this issue.
