Impact: Live traffic data, including real-time incident reports and speed updates, is currently unavailable for North American regions. Details: We have identified a widespread issue following a recent update that is causing incorrect traffic information—specifically false road closures and zero-speed reporting—on express and reversible interstate lanes across major metropolitan areas in North America. To prevent unsafe and erroneous routing, we are actively disabling live traffic feeds for North American regions. During this outage, your system will revert to standard routing without live traffic adjustments. Current Actions: -Our engineering team is currently disabling live traffic feeds to restore route accuracy. -We are working directly with our data provider to identify the root cause and implement a fix. -We will provide further updates as more information becomes available. We apologize for this disruption and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Impact: Live traffic data, including real-time incident reports and speed updates, is currently unavailable across all North American regions. Details: We have identified a widespread data issue following a recent update that is causing incorrect traffic information—specifically false road closures and zero-speed reporting—on express and reversible interstate lanes across major North American metropolitan areas. To ensure safety and prevent erroneous routing, we are proactively disabling live traffic feeds for all North American regions. During this outage, systems will revert to standard routing without live traffic adjustments. Current Actions & Guidance: -Mitigation: Our engineering team is disabling live North America traffic feeds and clearing internal data caches to restore route accuracy. We are working directly with our data provider to identify the root cause and implement a permanent fix. -For Drivers: If you are currently on an active route and experiencing issues, please restart your CoPilot application. This will clear cached data and revert your system to standard routing. -Availability: Live traffic updates will be unavailable throughout this outage. We will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available. We apologize for this disruption and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

We are continuing to work closely with our third-party traffic data provider to resolve the live traffic issues affecting North American regions. Live traffic feeds—including real-time incident reports and speed updates—remain disabled across North America while the provider works toward a resolution. Systems will continue using standard routing without live traffic adjustments. Current Guidance & Driver Instructions: -For Drivers: If you are currently on an active route and experiencing issues, please restart your CoPilot application to clear cached data and ensure your device reverts to standard routing. -Availability: Live traffic updates will remain unavailable for all North American regions during this time. We apologize for the inconvenience and will share further updates as new information becomes available.

Our third-party traffic provider has completed a rollback of their previous change. Following the rollback, we have re-enabled Live Traffic in production, and our tests confirm that all traffic services are behaving as expected. Live traffic coverage is fully restored across all North American regions. We are continuing to closely monitor routes and data to ensure stability. Current Guidance & Driver Instructions: -For Drivers: Live traffic data, real-time incident reports, and routing adjustments have resumed. If your application is not reflecting live conditions, please restart your CoPilot application to load the active feed. We appreciate your patience while we worked through this issue.

On August 4, 2026 at 12:01 EDT, a high-severity incident was reported, affecting the singlesearch.alk.com/api/batch/ endpoint, which began returning HTTP 503 Service Unavailable errors. This customer-facing API was unable to process incoming batch search requests for the duration of the incident, directly impacting any customers or integrations relying on this endpoint. The issue was resolved on August 5, 2026 at 06:53 EDT. During a planned infrastructure update on August 2, the underlying servers were upgraded but one of the applications did not update to match. This mismatch couldn't run the old application setup, and new application instances couldn't be started to replace them. With no working instances available to handle requests, the service was unavailable and customers started seeing errors.
