Update timeline

  1. monitoring Aug 20, 2025, 12:51 PM UTC

Android apps installed through EMM may report as successful but not actually get installed (AMAPI does not appear to be affected). Google's APIs are reporting a "200 Success" response, but the app never actually installs. We are monitoring the API's and will update when we have more information.

  2. monitoring Aug 21, 2025, 04:06 PM UTC

This issue was escalated to Google Engineering on August 20, 2025. We are awaiting a resolution from Google.

  3. monitoring Aug 27, 2025, 06:17 PM UTC

We have deployed a patch to deal with a recent change in Google's APIs. App installs should begin flowing as expected, but the backlog may take some time to clear.
