  1. investigating Oct 23, 2026, 11:14 AM UTC

We are currently experiencing technical issues with one of our host nodes in our Netherlands (Schiphol-Rijk), Amsterdam, location. This may affect the availability of some VPS services hosted at this location. Our technical team is investigating the issue and working to restore normal service as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide further updates as more information becomes available.

  2. identified Oct 23, 2026, 05:05 PM UTC

We have identified the issue, and the replacement parts are currently en route to the data center. We expect the parts to arrive by 19:00 UTC. We will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

**Amsterdam — Hardware replacement underway** An AMD EPYC processor has failed in one of our Amsterdam host machines, affecting all VPS on that host. The machine cannot operate with the remaining processor because half of its storage connections depend on the failed CPU. A replacement is being transported by taxi from our Nijmegen warehouse and is expected to arrive in approximately **30 minutes**. A technician is ready to install it and test the system. A restoration time is not yet confirmed. We are treating this with the highest priority and will provide another update after installation and testing. We apologise for the disruption and thank you for your patience.

**Amsterdam — Restoration now expected Monday afternoon** The replacement AMD EPYC processor has arrived and been installed. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the fault. The issue appears to involve the underlying server platform, which also requires replacement. The necessary components will only be available on **Monday, 26 October**. Our current estimate for restoring service is **Monday afternoon**. **No data has been lost.** Once the server platform has been replaced, we expect all affected VPS to boot normally. We understand that this extended outage has a serious impact on our customers. We are deeply sorry that we cannot restore service before the weekend and that our earlier diagnosis did not lead to a successful repair. We will continue to share updates here as more information becomes available. Yours, The EDIS Global Team

**Amsterdam — Replacement hardware ordered; restoration expected Tuesday, 27 October** Despite intensive efforts with our hardware vendors today, we were unfortunately unable to obtain the components needed to restore the affected host within our previously announced timeframe. We have now **placed orders with two separate vendors, both using overnight express delivery**. One shipment is coming from Denmark; the other is being arranged by our regular hardware partner through an additional supplier. **We expect the replacement equipment to arrive tomorrow, Tuesday, 27 October, and aim to restore the affected VPS services that day.** Our team is ready to replace the faulty platform as soon as the equipment arrives, then complete the necessary checks before bringing services back online. This estimate remains dependent on delivery and successful testing. **No data has been lost.** Your VPS data remains intact, and we expect the affected VPS to start normally once the platform has been replaced. We sincerely apologise that we could not meet Monday’s restoration estimate. We understand how difficult this extended outage is and appreciate the patience you have shown. Securing replacement hardware through two suppliers gives us greater confidence in completing the repair tomorrow. We will publish another update as soon as the equipment arrives. The EDIS Global Team

No data has been lost.** The arrival of the hardware is an important step towards restoring service. We will publish another update as soon as the replacement is complete. We sincerely apologise for the prolonged disruption and thank you for your continued patience. The EDIS Global Team
