Incident affecting AdMob
Resolved after 9 hours 29 minutes, affecting AdMob and AdMob (global), on October 8, 2026.
We're investigating reports of an issue with AdMob. We will provide more information shortly. The affected users are able to access AdMob, but are seeing error messages, high latency, and/or other unexpected behavior. Affected AdMob Interstitial video ads fail to render, causing a solid black screen and an unresponsive close button on both iOS and Android. Consequently, users are unable to dismiss the ad. There is no workaround other than force closing the affected application to exit the black screen.
