Since approximately 12:15 UTC (8:15 AM ET / 5:15 AM PT), some community site pages are loading slowly or failing to load, particularly individual posts, member profiles, and community home pages. Pages that were recently viewed may still load normally.

We've traced the issue to degraded database connectivity at one of our infrastructure providers and have escalated it with them. We're also working on changes on our side to reduce the impact. Posting, reading, and other content is not lost; this is a performance and availability issue only. We'll post another update once we learn more.

We're continuing to work on the slow loading and errors affecting some community site pages. We've made changes on our side to reduce the impact and are working directly with our infrastructure provider, who is investigating the underlying database connectivity issue. Most pages are still loading normally, but some posts, member profiles, and community home pages may load slowly or fail to load. If a page doesn't load, refreshing it will usually work. No existing content has been lost.

Community site performance has returned to normal. Since approximately 15:31 UTC, pages that were loading slowly or failing to load, including posts, member profiles, and community home pages, have been loading normally. The underlying database connectivity issue at our infrastructure provider appears to have been fixed. We're continuing to monitor closely and are waiting for confirmation from the provider before we mark this incident resolved.

From approximately 12:15 to 15:31 UTC, some community site pages, including posts, member profiles, and community home pages, loaded slowly or failed to load. The cause was degraded database connectivity at one of our infrastructure providers. Service recovered at 15:31 UTC, and after a brief period of minor slowness between 16:42 and 16:52 UTC, all community sites have been loading normally since. No existing content was lost. We're continuing to work with our provider on the root cause, and we're adding safeguards so that a similar provider issue fails faster and affects fewer pages. We apologize for the disruption.

Customers are reporting that after receiving the magic link email that they are unable to successfully login to the site. If this is you, please check out the #help channel in the Tightknit Community for more updates.

We've realized this error is tied to end member's link scanners. When the link scanner clicks the link, it invalidates the one time click link. We are working on an end member guide to help members understand how to add these links to their security scanners.
