Is Altmetric down?

We are currently investigating an intermittent outage affecting the Altmetric Details API which is leading to periodic intervals of errors being return by the API.

We are continuing to investigate this issue.

A fix has been implemented which we are confident has resolved the intermittent Details API outages and we are now continuing to monitor the situation.

No further outages have been detected so the incident is now considered resolved.

We are currently experiencing a delay of around three days across all attention sources, caused by a backlog in our processing pipeline. We are working through it as quickly as possible. We will post an update as the backlog clears.

We are currently experiencing a delay in the collection of news mentions. This is caused by an ongoing outage at one of our upstream news data providers, which is affecting the availability of their feed. Other attention sources are unaffected. The provider has confirmed they are working on a fix and currently expect service to be restored within the next couple of days. We will post an update as soon as we have more information.
